Day 1: Find yourself in Swedish Lapland Upon arrival at Luleå Airport, you will be transferred to Melderstein Manor, where the Thingvall family is waiting to welcome you. After check- in you can spend the day getting to know the surroundings at Melderstein. Give yourself time to enjoy the lovely heat from the sauna, built in a 200-year-old barn. In the evening you will be served a professionally prepared dinner. During the dinner, you will have a brief history of Melderstein Manor. Day 2: Full day Husky tour After breakfast, guides pick you up for a short transfer to meet and cuddle with the huskies. Before going on your full-day adventure, you will be equipped with some warm clothing. Spend the day driving your sledge through the forest. You’ll stop along the trail to make lunch over the fire before continuing with your day. Back at Melderstein Manor, a warm and tasty dinner will be served. Spend the evening by the outdoor fireplace. Gaze up at the sky, and maybe you will have the luck to see the northern lights dancing. Day 3: Snowmobile tour and Northern light Snowshoe trekking After breakfast, you will have a meet and greet with your guide. The guides will inform you about safety and how to run the snowmobile. Turn the key and head off to the frozen Råneå River. You will experience the landscape with snow-covered trees and endless white fields. After a while, you will reach a mountain top with a great view over the Råneå River. Here you can relax and have a nice lunch and some warming coffee. The chances to see wildlife are good. Back at Melderstein, you will have the afternoon open for extra activities or leisure. After dinner, it is time to go out to search for the northern lights! You will be equipped with thermal equipment and snowshoes and then it is time for a tour in the area. With your head torches, you will be experiencing the quiet darkness in the surroundings of Melderstein. You will have the chance to spot animal tracks and learn about the forests of Lapland. By Råneå River you will enjoy some warm drinks while gazing at the amazing Aurora-northern lights. A lovely way to end your day. Day 4: Departure Breakfast and transfer to the airport.
