The doors of Melderstein Manor is now opened to a new 3 nights travel experience where guests follow in the footsteps of yesteryear, as they journey along with the original
Iron Ore road to stay at a traditional Swedish manor which was built from the profits of the first mining concession in the region. Here, you will be hosted by direct descendants of the original owner, Carl-Johan Thingwall, whilst calling the manor your home for the rest of your stay.
You will arrive at the manor along the Iron Ore road by dogsled, before
enjoying the chance to meet and dine with Katarina, her father and Göran to learn more about this fascinating building and family.
During the stay, there is a lot of activities to do such as husky tours, fat bike on ice, snowmobile tour, Sami visit, ice fishing, cross country skiing, city tour, yoga, hot tub and more. All activities must be pre-booked.
