Luz Charming Houses result from sweet love and the desire to build a special and unique place. Here, every house has a story, each tree keeps a secret, and the past, present, and future play with each other in harmony. Inspired by the traditional architecture of the region, of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, the small village is hidden in a mystical forest, where on clear nights, you can hear the echo of the songs of Fátima’s Shrine, which is a 5-minute walking distance from the hotel. In the Mother House, you will find a lovely grocery store with local products, a cosy dining room, a living room and the Honesty Bar. In the middle of the garden, there is a small cave that awakens your senses. The whisper of the leaves kissed by the wind makes this unique heaven the perfect place to find the balance between body, mind and soul.

The Pool, an odd piece of architecture carved in stone – inspired by the old water retention tanks in the mountain ranges – with the relaxing effect of water purified by magnesium is where you can let yourself be enveloped by a summer “serrano”.

In a natural cave, Luz favors aromatherapy and herbal medicine, using local flora, passed from generation to generation. Let yourself be surprised by the surroundings and the magic of the cave gracefully created by nature. Feel the energy and vibration the natural cave gracefully lines up in unison and in balance with the universe.

The village is surrounded by a very special garden with some fruit trees, oaks, olive trees, holm oaks and other wild species of this region, each meticulously planted in the perfect way; by the hand of Mother Nature!

Luz wants to offer you an authentic experience. Therefore, they have partnered with local businesses so that you can taste the typical jams and sweets of the region, smell the warm bread in the morning and buy souvenirs made by the hands of those who live there.

As Luz Houses take care of their Mother House, they also take care of Mother Nature. They like working surrounded by green woods, hearing the whistles of sparrows and falling in love only by breathing in the fresh air and the wonderful smell of the earth.

They dedicate some days or hours to take care of the trees and flowers and from time to time they bring new inhabitants to create a more colourful garden. Luz Houses are proud to have a composed circuit that helps them grow their little paradise.

They believe in illuminating the soul but also in saving electricity. Using LED technology, Luz Houses invested in low consumption lighting. Go for an evening walk and discover how many stars the sky has and how many fireflies are hidden in the corners of the village.

As a symbol of purification and the origin of life, water is one of their most valuable treasures. So, they started using rainwater to reduce the water flow from taps and installed cisterns with a dual flushing system to avoid unnecessary waste.

And because sometimes the secret is in the roots, they insulated their houses with a super thermal brick that, combined with the thickness of the walls, maintains a pleasant indoor temperature all year. Furthermore, they invested in a smart AC, so you will never feel uncomfortable. They also created eco trees that support solar panels for heating water.
