Description

Even though you might be a world away from home, Treehotel welcomes you like family. Let Treehotel take you away from the stresses and demands of everyday life. At Treehotel – nature, ecological values, comfort, and modern design are combined for an exciting adventure.

The Dragonfly is Treehotel’s second-largest room, at 52 sq. m. and 22 tons. The room is primarily used for private accommodation, but can also be used for small conferences of up to 6 participants. Here you will find four beds in two bedrooms, one with a view of the Lule River Valley from the bed and the other facing the calm, wind-whispering forest.

A 15-meter ramp takes you up to the Dragonfly and ends at a small patio outside the door. This too has been the site of many proposals and engagements over the years.

Inside the room, large panoramic windows offer a view of the Lule River Valley. In some places, the light falls in a way that almost gives you the illusion of being able to touch the trees outside. Even in the bathroom, with its own shower, you have an amazing view of tall pines and the Lule River.

The room is a wooden construction with a metal facade that has taken on a rusty brown shade, allowing the room to blend in amongst the pines.

The Dragonfly is spacious enough for two couples, four friends, a family, or as a social space for a larger group staying in other rooms.

The Dragonfly room was designed by Finnish architect firm Rintala Eggertsson.

All of the Treehotel tree rooms have: Incinerating toilet, electricity, underfloor heating, air conditioning, coffee maker and water kettle, fresh drinking water, refrigerators, WiFi, their own sustainable Rukkamoika water system with 3 liters of water for washing your hands.
