Breiten – the smallest spa resort in the Valais – lies at the gateway to the UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site Swiss Alps – Aletsch Jungfrau. On a south-facing sun terrace above the Rhone River at 900 m above Mörel, the beautiful Upper Valais spa and holiday resort is only eight kilometres away from the pleasant Alpine town of Brig. It can be reached all year round by car and train and, with its effective 33° C warm brine bath and numerous therapy options, is one of the twenty-five recognised Swiss spas. Spa hotel Salina Maris has an 800 meter squared spa area supplied with fresh 33-degree celsius brine water.  The large family hotel apartment has on the lower level a spacious living room with south-west balcony (plenty of afternoon sun), lounge, dining table and a large TV, a kitchenette and a bathroom. A wooden staircase leads to the gallery with skylight. Here there is a double bed (2 mattresses). Next to it is a separate bedroom with 2 box-spring single beds.
